Meet your Wyoming Elementary School Counselor

Hello Wyoming Families! My name is Ashley Lyrek (Mrs. Lyrek) and I am the school counselor at Wyoming Elementary School! You may recognize me as I am not new to Wyoming! I got married this summer so my last name has changed - I was formally Ms. Wirth. This will be my third full year at Wyoming and I couldn't be happier to work for such a great school! 

I have a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and a Masters Degree in Professional School Counseling from Adler Graduate School. I received my K-12 School Counseling license from the Minnesota Department of Education in March of 2016. 

I grew up in Apple Valley, MN but currently reside in NE Minneapolis. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling (when I get the chance), working out, shopping and organizing/cleaning.

My husband (pictured above) is a 3rd grade teacher in Minneapolis. We spend a lot of time prepping and talking "school" together!
